Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, you can’t be an angry young man any more, but can’t you at least be a man now ?

Amar Singh the supposedly master political fixer is in hospital. If Ms. Jaya Prada’s version is true, then he is battling for his life. Nobody who was close to him has bothered to visit him.

It is quite natural that the politicians have stayed away from him. But, what puzzles most is the indifference of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and his family.

In the past, Mr. Bachchan himself proclaimed that Amar Singh was like his brother and was grateful to him for being  with him when Mr. Bachchan almost became bankrupt after attempting to be a business tycoon via Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited.

The whole of India knows who made Jaya didi a Rajya Sabha member. Abhishek Bachchan still drives around in the fancy car presented for his wedding by Amar Singh.

How can Mr. Bachchan forget his “brother” so easily. He could have at least sold the ICICI health policies to Mr. Singh and could have given his famous dialogue “policy idhar, hospital bed udhar. 

Mr. Bachchan need not worry about public opinion if he visits Amar Singh. After all did anybody raise any eyebrows when he associated himself first with Mulayam Singh’s Uttar Pradesh and now Narendra Modi’s Gujarat ?

Mr. Bachchan, don’t delay showing your gratitude. After all like your famous one liner for a cement brand “ friendship is also Sadiyon ke Liye”
